SHAPE Services announces IM+ for Skype for iPhone

Those with the iPhone have another reason to feel happy, SHAPE Services has announced IM+ for Skype for iPhone; the Safari web application for accessing Skype ecosystem from the mobile. The free version is available for a limited period to the iPhone users. All the user needs to do is log onto http://skypeforiphone.com using the iPhone’s Safari web browser and talk with their Skype contacts or call any landlines and mobiles in a “cost-efficient way”. It works in any network and doesn’t require WiFi. The IM+ for Skype uses SkypeOut credits for voice communication and those who use Skype Unlimited and Skype Pro plans, IM+ permist almost free calling from the mobile device to any PC with Skype or any landline/mobile number.

BlackBerry RIM, Windows Mobile Pocket PC, Palm OS, Symbian and J2ME devices already feature IM+ for Skype.
