Pope’s Image to Adorn a Bike

One of the greatest religious figures of our times, Pope John Paul II has been a constant source of inspiration to people, even though he is not physically present amongst us. A New York motorcycle shop has paid him their regards in the most unusual way, by dedicating a bike to him!

The Orange County Choppers motorbike garage has come out with a bike, which has the image of John Paul just below the handlebars. Decorated with scenes from the life of the Pope, the bike contains images of his coat of arms, religious imagery and the colors of the Polish flag. The manufacturer spent $60,000 to make it.

The bike will be auctioned on eBay from August 26 and the profits from its sale will go to a Christian charity. Amanda LeBlanc, of Auctionwire, the company organizing the sale said that they desired to pay homage to the great soul, by symbolizing his greatness.
