Spice Girls’ Spicy Album Cover to Cost $2 Million!

Jewels are the best friend of a girl, but the Spice Girls seem to have exaggerated this statement a bit! The newly reunited Spice Girls revealed the cover of their ‘Greatest Hits’ album on Friday. Created by jeweler David Morris, the shimmering cover is made of $2 million worth of precious jewels.

In the fashion of their debut album, it has the word ‘SPICE’ splashed on a white backdrop with each letter decorated with a different gem. The letters symbolize each of the girls in the band. S is made from amber and represents Victoria, the ruby pink P represents Emma, Mel C’s I is made from diamond, Geri’s C is made from sapphire stones while the E is made from emerald and represents Mel B.
The love the girls have for jewels is obvious from the fact that Geri bought all her band mates gold rings, when they formed their band, which she later replaced by more extravagant ones. It seems that their love for gems made their manager, Simon Fuller present the girls with expensive necklaces when they announced their comeback.

Now that is what I call a dazzling reunion!
