Any child would love to live as her favorite storybook character, and if she happened to be the offspring of a premier footballer, dreams could come true! Initially footballer’s wives and girlfriends made a huge hole in their pockets but now they have little daughters who make them spend thousands of pounds on their dream rooms.

Goldilocks or Cinderella- themed bedrooms are the favorite among children, complete with hand crafted carriage- shaped beds and hand -painted murals. Soccer stars are often famous for their gaudy display of wealth so they do not mind spending on their little ones. They do not hesitate to spill out $99,000 a time for a complete bedroom.

The carriage for the Cinderella-themed room is completely hand crafted and the bed alone costs for a whopping $47,600. The room has a walk in wardroom to offer.

Sir Galahad-themed room with wooden swords carved into the bed, and a Tom Thumb-themed room, with oversized furniture, including a $2,500 bed and $1,666 oak pirate’s chest for boys, are some other designs for the kid’s rooms.

Mark Wilkinson Furniture, who has showrooms in Knutsford, Cheshire, with offices in Wiltshire and London, designs these fairy-tale rooms. Mr. Wilson refrained from giving names of his clients, who, he said, often suggested the designs for their children’s rooms.
