London architects are developing the world’s first ‘zero-carbon’ five-star resort for eco-lovers. The developers of the resort claim, it will have no negative environmental impact on the environment. Each of its 35 villas will be totally self-sufficient and will be using only energy from the sun and wind.

The eco-friendly resort will not compromise on environment and at the same time it won’t be less luxurious then the other luxury resorts. There will be infinity pool in front of each villa will use water that has been naturally filtered by reeds in an adjoining pool. The resort will stick with natural air-conditioning with the villa walls shaped to draw the sea breeze into the bedroom. The resort will be built from local earth, renewable timber and reclaimed stone and the resort will transport their guests in electric cars to and from the airport. The luxurious amenities and facilites will include a spa, gym, a large swimming pool and a solar-powered restaurant, which will use food from its own farm and put waste into a biomass generator to produce energy. The resort will open sometime next year, but the only drawback is its location which is thousands of miles away in Nungwi, Zanzibar.
