Get Back in Shape with The CelluBike

cellubike_12.jpg

If you don’t follow your exercise routine religiously and have put-up fat at all the wrong places, then instead of registering in a slimming center, we have got lots of other solution for you to keep yourself fit. Like, we have earlier told you about the Cybex Trazer, the interactive exercise machine, the Luxury Hypoxi Exercise Bike with Bed and the newest onto the list is, the CelluBike. Just as Mike Yamamoto puts it, it exactly looks like some flight simulator at arcades. But, the CelluBike works by positioning the array of infrared lights onto your problem areas, while you peddle on its recumbent bicycle at 75% of your maximum heart rate. The infrared rays then penetrate the surface of your skin up to 1.5 inches and warm and softens the hardened cellulite. And, in addition to aiding in flushing cellulite from the body, infrared rays helps in ridding toxins from the body that are stored in the fatty tissue to make you fit back in those old trousseau of yours!

And, for those who think this to be similar to the invasive liposuction, keep no doubts in mind! The CelluBike engages the bodies own force to actually eliminate, not disguise or forcibly remove cellulite, from the body.

ecofriendly-resort_12.jpg

London architects are developing the world’s first ‘zero-carbon’ five-star resort for eco-lovers. The developers of the resort claim, it will have no negative environmental impact on the environment. Each of its 35 villas will be totally self-sufficient and will be using only energy from the sun and wind.

The eco-friendly resort will not compromise on environment and at the same time it won’t be less luxurious then the other luxury resorts. There will be infinity pool in front of each villa will use water that has been naturally filtered by reeds in an adjoining pool. The resort will stick with natural air-conditioning with the villa walls shaped to draw the sea breeze into the bedroom. The resort will be built from local earth, renewable timber and reclaimed stone and the resort will transport their guests in electric cars to and from the airport. The luxurious amenities and facilites will include a spa, gym, a large swimming pool and a solar-powered restaurant, which will use food from its own farm and put waste into a biomass generator to produce energy. The resort will open sometime next year, but the only drawback is its location which is thousands of miles away in Nungwi, Zanzibar.

Palu Cuff by John Hardy

decomatic-model-12_121.jpg

A trendy bracelet could enhance the beauty of a slender wrist, and if the bracelet happened to be one designed by master silversmith John Hardy, then what more could a person ask for! The bracelet has been designed in the studio of John Hardy, which happens to be situated in the awesome surroundings of Bali. It has been beautifully crafted by men, who mostly are the descendents of artisans, who designed jewelry for the royal courts of Bali.

Palu stands for “hammer” in Bali, so the name itself suggests that the cuff is made by hammering gold. 22k yellow gold is used for making it, which is hammered into a chick cuff, bordering its edges with a chain, made out of pure silver. This bangle swings open from one side to allow one’s wrist to comfortably slide in, and then clasps it safely. It surely stands out for looking rich and at the same time casual, and would never be out of fashion. It could decorate your wrist for $1995!

origami-boat_12.jpg

Though, the mere mention of “Origami” makes us think of Microsoft first, before anything else. But, the fact is, Microsoft’s Origami project has inspired a new breed of designers, to come up with compact and lightweight stuff that can be carried anywhere and everywhere, without any hitch. Like for example, the Origami DVD Player concept from an Israeli designer, Mag-Ink, we told you about, last May. But, if you thought, the Origami concept can be followed just for electronic stuff, then, you are mistaken! A designer, Matteo Signorini has designed a boat (yes, ..a boat) on Origami’s sketch lines.

The Origami Boat is a light folding dinghy, made out of flat sheets of plastic for sailing fun. The three meters long boat is meant for a single person’s use and is extremely lightweight. Once, the sailing is over, it folds up into a flat pack to the same size as a windsurf board. So, it can be carried everywhere, in a car, on flights or even in your luggage. The corrugated plastic makes it extremely safe and rigid for your sail.

A Ride to the Woodward 2007, Aboard VW Bus Billiards Table

vw-bus-billiards-600001_6642.jpg

All heads turned around when a white and burgundy colored Volkswagon Bus billiards table made its way to the Woodward Dream Cruise. The particular car event is the largest single- day classic car event in the world.

The owner seemed pleased by getting all the attention but he knew little about the background of the table. He had purchased the cool thing from its previous owner for $8000.

If you thought it was a fancy table worth staring at, then you are wrong, for the pool table is completely functional. It does not seem to be fitted with a full -fledged ball return device, but is definitely playable. One could even store balls and other stuff in the area under the flap of the engine.
