BBQ Chopper for Bike-Lovers

bbq-chopper_12.jpg

Back in June, we told you about a crazy auto-enthusiast who went a bit too far with his craze for autos turning the front section of his classic Holden Monaro GTS for grilling burgers and steaks. And, now Andrew Fischel, the owner of a trendy Manhattan-based barbecue joint has taken his obsession for bikes on a higher level with his customized

“RUB Chopper” that tags along a working smoker. “We’re creating the most kick-ass mobile barbecue vehicle ever made,” Fischel says. This mobile barbecue chopper is not meant to be driven on road legally but then if you have an obsession for bikes then this has to be a part of your classic collection. Though, this one is not meant for sale unless you are thinking of getting one commissioned for yourself for a price as much as a Bentley! Yes.. “It costs as much as a Bentley.”

Swarovski Morpheus Chandelier is a totally fascinating piece of art, which could turn all of us into designers. The light reflections that it creates, can be interpreted in what ever way the viewer wants to.

The light reflection changes with the movement of the viewer and makes all sorts of designs; it may suddenly change into a circle from a square, which in a split second would turn into an infinity sign. The designs just blend into one another unless you are careful enough to notice the shapes in between.

The way the chandelier forms images, seems miraculous, but it has a logic on which it works. This chandelier has a permutation of 10-foot diameter and 16,000 crystals, six servo-motors and cables which apply pressure to a flexible spring steel assembly. These motors are attached to six points on the perimeter, that allows the chandelier to create any shape.

The name of the designer to have amazed everyone by this creation is Yves Behar. I certainly would love to watch these cloudy chandeliers dangle on my room ceiling!

Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag- Status Symbol Worth $52,500

Talk about status symbols and there is one, which all the rich women would love to flaunt! We are talking about the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork, the ultimate status bag that costs for a staggering $52,500.One such bag is expected in Washington, ordered by a lady, whose name the company refrained from disclosing.

The bag is hand made in France with the help of 14 LV bags cut up and sewn together, with only 5 pieces for sale in North America and 24 worldwide. R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles is one of the five to possess it, while the names of the other four have not been disclosed.

According to Milton Pedraza, chief executive of market-research firm the Luxury Institute, the ultra rich desire commodities that set them apart from the mere rich class, and they do not mind paying any amount of price for this. Thus, the retailers oblige the buyers with extraordinary looking products, with price tags to match their looks. Here the product is less important than the number of people who can afford it.

A bag auctioned by Doyle New York in 2005 went for $64,800, making the Tribute Patchwork bag the second most expensive one in the world. The race for the top slot is still on, as Chanel is all set to launch an alligator skin and diamond studded bag in December, which is expected to cost $260,150.

Anyone who is interested, please order the Tribute Patchwork bag, months in advance!

When all the other accessories have donned diamonds, why leave the writing fraternity untouched! British entrepreneur Roger Shashoua makes a debut in this field, by bringing out made-to-order edition of his new book “Dancing With the Bear”. The dazzling book comes with a price tag of $6m!

The book is said to be the most expensive one in the world, adorned with 600 flawless diamonds. It describes how the author made $200m through business after the disintegration of the Soviet Union.

Mr. Shashoua, the co-founder of ITE, which trades on the London Stock Exchange, expects to lure attention of the wealthy Russians settled in the UK. He hoped that a section of the “oligarchy” went through its contents, and not bury it safe in some locker.

In order to highlight the diamonds, the special edition of the book comes in a black cover instead of the standard white one.

Russia’s GDP might be lagging behind, but its head count of billionaires is the fourth highest in the world. According to the Forbes magazine’s annual rating, Russia boasts of having 53 billionaires, including Chelsea Football Club owner Roman Abramovich. Others are mainly associated with the oil sector, followed by steel, mining and metals.
